Last year we broke the news that the Joggler, our touch-screen device, would be getting its very own App Shop. It’s now ready to go and packed with a range of useful apps and games.
The Joggler App Shop is available as a software update to all Jogglers and will download automatically from 1 April. Once it’s downloaded you’ll notice a new App Shop button on the screen that’ll look like this:
Once you’re inside the App Shop you can pick up useful apps to install for free on your Joggler including Google Maps™, Google Calendar™ and YouTube™. There’s also a wide range of games available – quick to download and install, they’re perfect for passing the time in the kitchen.
To celebrate the launch of the App Shop we’re reducing the price of the Joggler to £49.99 until April 15 – you can get one now by heading to http://shop.o2.co.uk/joggler, calling 08442 020202 or visiting your nearest O2 store.
Great to see some support for this, if iplayer, facebook, twitter, email and browser apps were availble for the Joggler everyone would buy one for their kitchen / bedroom.

Is there any way of viewing what apps are available for the Joggler before going to buy one? I want to know if there is a web browser app.

Would be nice if this actually worked/was pushed out to devices (nobody I know with a Joggler has actually had this update).

SO. I'm supopsed to buy the Joggler first and take the risk that there will be apps that are in line with what I want?
OK. You go into a restaurant, order some food, but you don't get to look at the menu till the food arrives.

Hi, somethings gone wrong with my joggler, I asked for it to download and install both google calender and maps. Maps has appeared and works well but calender is no where to be seen and doesn't appear in the store anymore...thoughts?

The wife made a good comment if it had an app for the BBC Iplayer these 02 Jogglers would sell by the bucket load as the ideal companion in the Kitchen. Is this app going to be available anytime soon?

You may be able to see a Joggler in action at your nearest O2 retail store - you can also return them within 14 days if you're unhappy with any aspect of the Joggler.

Do you have a timeframe for when email will be coming? Will this just be the o2 email account, or will you be able to use other popular email providers such as hotmail and gmail?

Please add a facebook app and a internet browser app such as Google Chrome.
Many people have hacked there Joggler so they can access this as per a youtube video called "O2 Joggler running Google Chrome"
