The HTC Desire is one of the most anticipated phones of the year and we’ve been working to make it available as soon as possible. Unfortunately the testing we carry out to make sure the phone’s ready for launch has taken longer than we had hoped, meaning we won’t be able to launch it at the end of April like we originally planned. Instead, we’re aiming to get it launched for mid-May and we’ll update this page as soon as we have an exact date.
In the meantime, here are the tariffs you’ll be able to buy the HTC Desire on once it’s launched. With the Desire’s big touch screen, powerful processor and combination of Android software and HTC Sense user interface, it’s perfect for browsing the web, keeping up to date with your friends or downloading any of the more than 30,000 apps available in the Android Market.
That’s why we’re launching the HTC Desire on our range of dedicated smartphone tariffs that all offer free unlimited data and Wi-Fi as standard as well as unlimited texts. Available with either an 18 or 24 month minimum term, there’s a tariff to suit every pocket. Here’s the full breakdown:

How much would I be charged if I wanted to pay to upgrade my 3gs to a desire!?? Keeping my current contract??

Any information for upgrading customers? Or are we going to be offered the same plans?

It's not good enough o2, every other network has got the Desire out with no problems. Add to the fact the tariffs aren't competitive, anyone would think you want people to have an iPhone instead.....

How can it take so long to test that the phone works? Other networks have had the phone for over a month now.
You can see from your own forums the number of users you are losing to T-mobile here; just release the phone and tell us that you haven't fully finished testing it, see how many people actually give a damn.

o2 seriously.... you really need to get your testing process streamlined. The same thing happened with the Samsung Galaxy (which is the worlds worst phone btw). I am not just gonna buy the Nexus One on vodaphone.
Too long.

Hi Geoff & SJM - we never release a phone until the experience is right and this testing is vital for this. It'll be coming out very soon now though!
James & Laurie - these are the tariffs the phone will be available on but if you want to discuss your specific accounts you'd need to give us a call on 202 free from your mobile.

Since you didn't post my last comment I'll ask another question.
Will the Desire be O2 branded. Voda, etc, aren't branding their devices. If it is O2 branded that's a massive FAIL.

All the other networks have real problems with stock too because of the volcano, just check out the fiasco going on over at VF at the moment.

Hi Paul - the Desire on O2 won't be branded on the case.

I'm happy to say the HTC Desire is now available on O2 - check it out at your nearest store or at http://shop.o2.co.uk.
Thanks for your patience!

Specialists tell that home loans aid a lot of people to live their own way, because they are able to feel free to buy needed things. Moreover, some banks give financial loan for young and old people.
