It’s 100 years of Rugby at Twickenham Stadium, and as part of the celebrations we’re bringing you a brand new way of watching rugby. Rugby fans will get the chance to watch England’s home RBS 6 Nations games in 3D cinema screenings across England.
The screenings mark the first time a sports event has been broadcast live in 3D in the UK. You can watch the rugby at 40 Odeon and Cineworld cinemas across England and be part of history.
So, you’ll be able to experience the excitement of England’s official centenary match, against Wales in the RBS 6 Nations on February 6th, and their clash with Ireland on February 27th from the comfort of your cinema seat. Great if you can’t make it to the game. Check out what England elites Ugo Monye, Delon Armitage and Nick Easter think of the technology below.
Sally Cowdry, Marketing Director at O2, said: “These screenings will be using the latest technology to let thousands of fans across the country get closer to the action and join in the excitement of celebrating 100 years of England Rugby at Twickenham.”
Is there a list of Cinema's where the Rugby will be shown in 3D? or is it ALL Odeon and Cineworld cinemas in England?
